I grew up in San Francisco and after high school attended City College of SF, and then SF State University, graduated with a degree in Psychology and went on to pursue a Masters Degree in Social Work’ from University of Pennsylvania .

Following my graduation in 1987 I went on to obtain a certificate in couples and sex therapy from the Penn Council for Relationships.

I have over 30 years of experience counseling couples, families’ and individuals from all over the world addressing depression, anxiety and substance abuse issues. and other mental health issues.

Being African American I have a deep commitment to improving the lives of people who have been traumatized by the racial inequities in this country.

I combine my life experiences along with a cognitive-behavioral approach.

My fees are 125.00 for 50 min, for virtual and in person appointments.
Sliding scales fees are available on an individual basis-
